My father was the original owner who bought it in 1969 with a 250 6 cylinder 3speed manual. Have original Protect-o-plate. I installed a ground-up blueprinted (each rod was ground and weight balanced with pistons, ach bearing clearance checked to exact spec .003) 610 horsepower hi perf 454 bored .030 over (461)This is a port-massaged, arge square-port heads, bolt main, actory marine race engine from a 32 foot Fountain. Align-bored mains, orged crank re-ground 10 under, rane high-lift blower cam (.550 intake, 520 exhaust) w/aluminum crane roller rockers, otal Seal gapless rings on forged TRW pistons, loyes true roller double timing chain, M high flow oil pump, SD electronic ignition and distributor, nbsp;B&M blower (8psi boost, hipped to B&M for a complete new rebuild) and a stagger-jetted 850 holley with power valves in front and rear metering blocks. Its mated to a new-built, hort-shaft truck turbo 400 trans with heavy duty sprag, nd a professionally-modified valve body with flipped accumulators and a 2200 stall converter. Griffin, arge aluminum radiator with a switched high-flow 3600 cfm dual electric fan set up. Ceramic-coated hooker 17/8" headers through 3 chamber flow master mufflers. Originally an open diff 4.56 3/4 ton Eaton rear, ow has a GM 1/2 ton 12 bolt with a Morosso Brute Strength posi traction 4.10 (new) with a bearing-cap snubber aluminum cover. Oil, ater, olt, nd blower boost gauges sunk in dash with rebuilt tilt steering column and a sun tacometer. adjustable Airbags installed in front coils to level suspension. The driveline was installed when the truck had 89000 miles and has accumulated about 6000 miles over the past 20 years, riven summers to shows like the Woodward cruise, ocal events and highway trips up north to store it for winter. Truck has zero rust and has been garaged since new. It was a landscaping truck every summer from 1969 to 1980. It was refinished by a body shop that did a disappointingly poor job for 8k in 1996 (including new interior seat recover and door panels though) which I subsequently had stripped and repainted with Sikkens base clear for 10k in early 2000 by Elite body and paint in macomb-now out of business. They massaged the metal of imperfections and laid a show-quality finish. It has not been exposed to weather and still shines deep.
Over 30k invested.
Needs: Power brakes-Has non-boosted upgraded discs up front but this truck has power that will overcome existing braking.
Power steering-Truck has original manual steering which feels like power steering while moving, ut not fun at all parking
Fuel Cell installation- ($500 aluminum fuel cell is included) that needs to be installed where it fits in place of the spare behind the rear axle.
