1966 chevy impala purchased in Southern Arizona.Car had been recently painte, so weremoved interior, emoved existing motor and tranny and started rebuilding. Dropped in a rebuilt 350 small block with aComp Thumper cam new Edelbrock Air Gap intake and Edelbrock 650 carburetor. Bolted motor to a rebuilt700 R 4 tranny which is pushing the power through a 10 bolt rear end. New headman headers and flow master 40 mufflers were added to make this hot rod rumble. Dressed engine compartment up with chrome alternator, ower steering pump, /C compressor and fan shroud along with an aluminum radiator and new heater core. We lowered this beauty 3” added power brakes, isc in front along with new tilt wheel steering column. Threw on some Boyd wheels 18” front 20” back with Toyo tires. The outside ispainted a Neon Blue Metallic color that makes this car shine. A new front windshield and seal were installed along with new side window felts and rubbers. We applied epoxy primer to a clean non rusted floor pan, dded dead sounding material along with the new padding and carpet. Upholstery shop installed a head liner recovered the seat, un visors and door panels. A new dash pad was installed along with a center console floor shifter and tach. Finished interior off with new bucket seats and belts. This is a factory a/c car so we updated system with new compressor, ondenser and accumulator, 34 A Freon, ow this hot rod will keep you cool and look cool. Drives down the freeway at 75 no problem. I have driven it Phoenix rush hour several times.
