1962 Impala Super Sport, atching #, Speed

Up for auction is this 1962 Chevrolet Impala, uper Sport. This Impala is a matching number RB coded 327-300 HP engine and 4 barrel carburetor with duel exhaust. The transmission is a Synchro-mesh 4 speed and the rear axle housing is factory.
The exterior is code 936 which is the factory ermine white. This car has been painted for approximately 20 years but it has been kept in storage since restoration. The fit and finish of this super sport are of excellent quality. The body lines are laser straight and there are body issues whatsoever. There are several small rock chips due to its age. Each piece of the chrome and bright work are in excellent shape, ncluding the bumpers and bumper guard. The wheels are the factory steel with the factory super sport hubcaps which are wrapped in BF Goodrich Silvertown bias ply tires. There is even a new bias ply spare in the trunk.
The beautiful interior is the correct code 875 which is red bucket seats with console. The factory super sports came with the passenger grab (assist) bar. This Impala is equipped with the factory Sun two part tachometer and transmitter. The tachometer is not currently working but I do have the part ordered that I think will correct this issue. The transmission is shifted by the original shifter which is housed by the factory console plate. This care also has the factory floor mats.
The Impala Super Sports are not only rare, ut are hard to find in a condition such as this one. It's original and remains in exceptional condition. This Impala runs and drives great and continues to have excellent eye appeal.
