The car handles great and the suspension, ransmission, teering and brakes are in great and tight order. All electronics function well and the fully automatic 3-piece top opens and closes smoothly, n just 20 seconds.
The car is structurally and cosmetically perfect,except for a scratch on the top right of the rear bumper (you can see it in pictures).The car was really kept clean and well taken-care-of throughout its ownership.
This car comes equipped with the same suspension, arger diameter brake rotors and wide body as the 996 Turbo.
The car is drivable and the reason for the low price is a mechanical issue on the engine, herecylinders 4 and 5 click. I consulted an experienced mechanic who confirmed that the car is drivable but it is better to take care of this issue, hich he believes is a broken pin on the pistons.
Also, s is common with some 996-era Porsche 911's, here is a bit of white smoke when the car turns on but that goes away after a minute. The mechanic said that this is related to the same clicking issue.
