I purchased this vehicle with the issue with the transmission. My plan was to repair it and give the car to my father. Well, y father passed away and I lost interest to do anything with this car. I go out once a week to start and drive around my area. Purchased this vehicle in Virginia and recently moved to California, hile the vehicle was being towed the check engine light and anti lock brake light both came on. I looked in the owners manual and it says this could happen during towing, t goes on to say driving the vehicle around the lights should reset themselves. I have not driven the vehicle, o lights are still on. Transmission has issues going into the forward gear, t does still go into gear, hile driving the transmission appears to shift as it should, ooks as though a (shift) solenoid of which there are eight of them inside the transmission appears to be going out, s to how many, do not know. You are welcome to come test drive and look at car. Weekends only to do this please. I am in Castaic area. I researched used transmission and they range from 400.00 to 1200 dollars, f course I had planned on taken car into AAMCO and letting them look at it. Happy Bidding!
