Always garaged, lways professionally maintained and always driven sparingly, he car’s original 44k miles are documentable through a stack of service records, he original stamped service booklet and a completely clean CARFAX report. Never in any accidents, he Stone Grey Metallic finish is entirely original, ith the exception of the rear wing, hich the previous owner had color-matched so that it looked like his 928 GTS. With the exception of an updated sound system and 17” OEM Porsche Turbo Twist wheels, he rest of the car remains original as well, owever the stock original wheels remain with the previous owner and can be forwarded at cost.

As Porsche’s first significant, ront-engine Grand Tourer, he 928 drew the initial ire of enthusiasts worldwide, ut as soon as they realized it wasn’t to replace the beloved 911 (rather to compliment it in a Porschephile’s garage), pinions changed. A big V8 Autobahn bomber, he 928 was far more civilized than the 911, oasting big cushy seats, ower everything, sually an automatic transmission and all the Star Wars/Reagan era futuristic design elements that a successful 1980’s man could ask for. It was and remains a true GT cruiser; extremely comfortable with a powerful and torquey V8 making smooth, njoyable driving effortless. Furthermore, n following with Porsche’s legendary legacy, he handling is great and the looks are timeless.

As the pictures show, he Stone Grey Metallic finish is in gorgeous original condition. Deep, ustrous and marred only by a few minimal scuffs on the front bumper and a few other incredibly minor imperfections, he finish cloaks the car’s entirely straight body which retains consistent panel fits and gaps throughout. Never in an accident, he car’s body is entirely original, he doors, runk and hood all retaining their original, umbers matching panel stickers. The glass and rubber are in excellent original shape, s are the Turbo Twist wheels, rapped in BF Goodrich tires with plenty of remaining tread. The car’s interior is equally impeccable, he burgundy leather seats and carpets showing virtually now wear whatsoever, he dash free of any cracks or warping and the headliner flawless. The power sunroof, ower seats, ower windows, ower rear hatch locking device, /C and all of the other electronics work exactly as they should.

The car retains its inflatable spare, ir compressor and original tool kit (complete save for the pliers), s well as its original manual, tamped service booklet, ultiple keys and a thick stack of records documenting a consistent and attentive service history. In addition to routine services to the engine, rakes, ransmission, tc., t’s worth noting that the timing belt, ater pump and front seals were all replaced by a Porsche dealer service center at 29k miles.

The car is also excellent mechanically, eeling like a tight, ell-maintained, ow original mileage example should. Despite its low miles, he car was never neglected for any period of time, ather driven regularly (albeit sparingly) and professionally serviced, lways garaged and professionally detailed. The car starts effortlessly, roducing a low rumble to announce its 316hp 5.0L V8, nd it’s a joy on the road, mooth through each of the gears and pulling with impressive force when asked. With its quiet cabin and even drive quality, t’s very easy to look down at your gauges on the freeway and realize you’re doing 95mph when you assumed you were only a hair over 70. Despite the fact it’s a front engine V8, t’s still a Porsche and it performs with poise in the canyons as well as on the freeway.

This is an excellent opportunity to acquire what is undoubtedly one of the best, ost original 928 S4s on the market today. With vintage Porsches appreciating faster than nearly any other marque (save for Ferrari), he outlandish numbers that 356s and 911s have been realizing have made the 928 a legitimate and unique collector’s car, he epitome of a modern classic. Rare and tasteful colors, mpeccable condition, ow miles, ocumented history, .0L engine, tc.…If you’ve been looking for a 928S4, t’ll be difficult to find a better example.
