1971 ,1970,1972 Camaro Z28

Up for bid is a Custom Built Pro Street Style 1971 Camaro. This carbegan its life asa real Z/28.

The original engine wasn't in the car when it was purchased by me so I decided to build this car up as a pro steet / restomod style car. The car was disassembled down to the frame andbody.

The body was media blasted and hadAbsolutely NO RUST ! This car has been restored for 12 years and the paint and body stilllooks as good as the day it was completed !

The body has been mini tubed for the installation of a 4 link suspension. It also has a an 8 point roll cage installed with removable swing out door bars.

The front sub frame was completely rebuilt with all new components and new disc brakes. The front and rear sub frame have been welded together with box tubing and a narrowed Ford 9 inch rear end installed with a true 4 link coil over suspension and rear disk brakes. All new brakes lines and master cylinder where also installed. The rear gearing is 3.55 with Mosher truetrac differential and 31 splineaxels. Drive shaft has spicer u joints and a drive shaft safety loop .

The engine is a custom built Chevy 547 that makes around 700horsepower .It is built with a Merlin III block and Eagle forged rotating assembly. This engine has 10.6 : 1 compression and runs on 93 octane fuel . The cylinder heads areCNC ported AFR 315w/ ferrea 7000 series valves .The camshaft is a comp camscustom ground full roller with matching springs . It has a Holley 950 cfm carb on aTeam G intake,and fullMSD ignition system. Cooled buy electric water pump and a custom Ron Davis Radiator.This engine is fresh with less than 1,000 miles on it. It is also very streetable.

The car has power steering and 4 wheel disc brakes. It has a custom built turbo 400 automatic transmission wit a TCI 3600 rpm stall converter.

The interior is all custom leather with Recaro front seat, added roll ba, autometer gauge, and billet specialties steering wheel .

The wheels on the car are 17 inch Billet Specialties w/ nitto tires.
