Boy oh boy! Up for sale is my 2007 Porsche Cayman "S" with full carbon fiber factory installed package (same as the "R"). This wonderfully beautiful and fun Porsche only has 57,000 Miles on it and has been perfectly maintained by Porsche throughout its entire life!
All services, pdates, nd recalls have been taken care of as of this posting. The 60K service has been completed and this car is ready for the road.
I don't know if it is the purr of the Flat Six Cylinder engine, he smell of the handcrafted and vented German racing leather, r the backroad handling of the Porsche suspension but this beauty is one of the most sought after years for the Cayman "S" -- Once you sit inside and fire the engine up -- you can't help but grin!
History:
My mother leased this car in 2007 and kept it leased for a few years. She turned in the lease and then my father purchased the car back from Porsche of Savannah back in 2009. My father kept it garaged and perfectly maintained only driving on occasional weekends until he passed away in 2013 at which time my brother who owns a car auction house took the car over with several other cars that my father owned.
I took the car from my brother and brought it out to California with me.
The car as you can see from the photos is in Perfect shape! It is a beautiful example of a low mileage Cayman. There are no dings, scratches, uts, ruises or blemishes on the vehicle. I have only used it on occasional weekends myself and it is not a daily driver.
Service:
The car has never had any mechanical issues. It has been maintained by Porsche through its life and I have most receipts for any work done (there hasn't been much!). This is one of the most reliable Porsche vehicles on the market which is another reason they are so popular. A friend in the Porsche club has one with over 200K on it and stills goes strong and looks new!
The car has had a few recalls through the years -- nothing major, ust switches, brake sensor, nd a coolant valve which has all been completed early in its life. The car now sports new Conti tires as you can see in the photos and newer (2014) brakes -- which have only about 5-6,000 miles on them.
The vehicle is a stock Cayman "S" except for the carbon fiber package which was purchased with the car new. The carbon fiber add on price is nearly $4,000 and really adds an element of performance and speed to the vehicle. Inside the Cayman"S" you get the feelings of the ever elusive Cayman"R" from the low profile, ented racing seats, nd carbon fiber look!
We even have the Porsche outside door logos for the bottom rocker as seen in the Porsche "R" series -- they are new in the box and have never been installed.
The car does not leak any fluids, o warning or sensor lights, ll gauges, witches, ccessories, ights, nd electronics work perfectly as they should. No errors at all.
The windshield and all glass are in perfect condition. All seams, rubber, eals, nd rockers are perfect. The car was purchased with a clear "bra" on it so the front has been protected. You can remove it or leave as is.
It has the factory Bose system with CD changer and bass. Thankfully it is the Non-GPS system since those are tricky to update and costly to maintain and of course for 2016 -- out of date. This system is flawless and the sound quality is amazing!

We have all user manuals, adio manuals, aint code books, arranty book etc. This is in the nice Porsche manual kit and included. These manuals cost over $700.00 from Porsche and for some reason people seem to lose them. We didn't!
Early in its life (first 1000 miles) a lady ran into my mother backing out of a parking spot in a mall. No damage occurred and you can check all records, ust a less than one mile per hour tap in the back that was simply buffed out. However, ince it was her baby she called the police and filed a report. It does come up on the Carfax as a minor accident with a police report but no insurance claim or record -- since there was no damage. Only issue car has ever had.
The car is available for inspection and you are more than welcome to have it inspected by a Certified Porsche Mechanic ONLY. I will not allow the engine cover removed by anyone other than a certified Porsche mechanic with the proper tools and test equipment. I will help make arrangements for this if you like and of course you should pay for the inspection. We have a Porsche dealer in Thousand Oaks and Beverly Hills. This needs to be done prior to your purchase not after.
I will help with shipping the vehicle. I can be available for a carrier to pick it up -- I can also pick you up from an airport and you can drive away in this beauty.
I require a $500 deposit immediately and full payment before pickup. I prefer all cash - if you are using a cashiers check or personal check it will need to clear for 7-10 days before I release the vehicle. I am sure you can understand this. I have the clean California title in hand and ready to transfer.
I reserve to the right to refuse a "Test Drive" to anyone that I don't feel is serious or has the ability to purchase the car. I am not a car dealer and I am selling my personal vehicle. I don't want people just trying to get a ride in a Porsche. I have had that happen in the past with other vehicles I have sold. Please understand this and if your serious about the car come see it.
