1987 Chevy C3500 Ex firetruck w/11,372 miles military 2 1/2 ton steel flat bed

Don't be afraid to make offer. I bought this truck in 2013 at a used car dealer that was selling it for a small fire department. The truck was cab and chassis as they had remounted the cabinet body on a new ford truck. I bought the duece and a half flat bed and had it mounted by a welding shop. I LOVE this truck and was going to use it as my shop work truck. It is SOO nice that I can't bring myself to get it muddy or to scratch it up in the fields getting parts for old projects that I build. I have towed a few cars with it and have hauled parts to and from swap meets. I bought this truck with 9400 miles in 2013. I put new tires on it at 10,100 miles and still have a new unmounted spare. Truck now has 11,372 miles. It brings A LOT of attention at swap meets and I have taken it to local car cruises. Excellent original truck with a few dings and a few scratches. Has always been stored inside. Cleaner in person than in the pictures.
454 throttle body FI /400 auto w/HD 70 rear and probably 4:10 gear. Has am/fm radio. Has HD dual battery set up. Truck had 13 curved springs and 5 overloads when I bought it. I removed 6 rear springs on each side to get it back to stock HD set up. Rides and drives like new, s it almost is. Dash has had radio and equipment mounted to it with screws. So there are holes in the dash and floor where equipment was mounted. Fireman call codes still posted behind the visors. Jeff 319-931-7141
