1964 Corvair Monza in good condition.
Mechanically sound. Was my daily driveruntil I got anautomatic to sit in traffic more comfortably. Exhaust is loud! Put a new clutch on it around 1000 miles ago. Done the routinemaintenance: spark plugs, ires, il, uel filter, an belt, tc. I wouldn't hesitate to drive it any distance.
Body is straight, xcept for bondo patch on the passenger door. Also some knuckleheadpried open the smoking window to break in, nd damaged the chrome window edge.
Interior is very good -- seats are in good shape. Carpet is newer. Missing bits of the foil on the emblems on the doors, nd a clip or two.
In general, great driving Corvair, r excellent candidate torestore to cherry.
New that I have done:Brand new clutch (1000 miles on it)Electronic ignitionAlternator conversionRear brakes2 new tires (other two in good shape still)Fuel pumpThis and that gasket and bearingRear half paintStereo (bluetooth etc)
New that was on it when I got it:High performance exhaustHigh performance air intakeOil coolerAmerican racing wheelsHeadliner (though torn)DashboardCarpet
Needs:Steering box -- drivable as it is, ut not ideal.Repair toheadliner -- two tears, oth fairly largeFront half paint andbondo smoothing
