Triumph TR6 Californian car, he best example for restorationyou'll ever find.
If you are looking for a TR6 for restoration this is simply the best example you could wish for. It is totally solid and straight with great panel fit and still with itsoriginal paint. You can see from the pictures how dry the car has been stored over the years. The only area ofvisible rust is on the boot lid where the paint has cracked, owever this should sanddown with no issues.
The engine runs well and is nice and quite with good oil pressure. The clutch and brakes work, owever you will need to go through all the mechanics before using it on the road. The seats, adio tower and soft to are present but the carpets and some of the vinyl panels have been removed all of which you can obtain as a complete kit.
I have had many Triumphs and have restored many overthe years and this is by far the best one I have seen that requiresrestoration. When they are left sitting for this amount of time they usually deteriorate. The also has the addedbenefit of a factory hard top.
This exceptionally solid TR6 will make for an ideal restoration andshouldn't require any welding.
The car is currently located in Southern California, hipping anywhere around the World can be arrange at extra cost. We have restorations facilities in California and Kent, ngland, herefore any restoration requirements you may have we'd be happy to discuss with you.
If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact me on 001 805 267 6795 where I will be happy to discuss the car in more detail.
The winning bidder is required to pay 10% deposit with 2 days and the balance within 7 days of the auction ending.
Good luck and happy bidding.
