Classic Convertible Code 54 "Custom LeSabre" '70 model - 2-Family Texas Owned Original - Original Books & Warranty Card (Protect-O-Plate)

This car has been garage-kept for most of its life. It was originally purchased by a 70-year old lady here in Northeast, exas who drove the car very little and kept it in the garage. She passed away at 82 years of age and left the car to her granddaughter in Rockwall, exas who sold the car to the current owner near Kemp, exas in the late 1990s. It has been owned by this gentleman for approximately 16 years. A Texas car since new, he original red upholstery is in excellent condition and the body is very straight and all original with exception of one older repaint. This is a dry climate convertible and it shows. This car cruises down the road fine, e spent a day enjoying it and going over the car. The mileage of 83,087 is original to the car. The body is original throughout, can find NO filler or evidence of any repairwork ever done to this car other than a driver quality exterior repaint of the original white. This is truly a dry climate Texas car and it shows. The chrome bumpers show exceptionally well front to back. All of the original trim/brightwork is in very condition as well.

Open the doors to 1970.

The interior is all original and intact throughout, n very good to excellent condition. The dash is smooth and straight with no cracks, clear indicator of the garage-kept condition. The seat upholstery is intact front to back with good coloration and no tears. The instruments are clear and functional. The gauges work. The lights work (T3 headlamps) and the brake lights and signals work along with the horn and windshield wipers. The air conditioning system is not blowing cold. The compressor does not have a belt on it, ill likely need to be rebuilt or replaced, therwise the A/C system is intact.

The convertible top assembly has recently been replaced and works as it should. The top shows well

The wheels of choice are the factory 15-inch rollers & hubcaps with whitewall radial tires all around.

Under the hood is the original optional 350 4bbl. V8 engine. The engine runs good and is paired with the factory 3-speed automatic transmission. The mileage of 83,087 is original to this Buick.

This car is all original underwent with exception of a recent tune-up with new plugs and wires. The alternator has also recently been replaced. You can see the sheetmetal is intact and dead straight throughout the left and right inner fenders, ore support and firewall. The original trim identification plate is also in place.

The undercarriage is intact and original throughout including the flooring and framework. Also the door undersides and inner fenders are in excellent condition throughout.

Again, e have the original Texas owner's manual, arranty card, nd paperwork for this Buick. We have insurance receipts that are decades old as well confirming Texas ownership.
