Up for sale we have a 1970 Pontiac GTO Convertible. This is a real GTO with the 242 Vin that has the PHS Documents along with miscellaneous receipts. It's done in the correct color scheme and has some great options. In the paragraphs to follow we will give a brief description of the exterior, nterior, nd driveline of the Pontiac, ut first we would like to tell you a little about us.
Smoky Mountain Traders is a classic car dealer in east Tennessee. We are family owned, perated, nd own our entire inventory, o consignments, nd only deal in muscle cars and vintage auto. You can count on us to have 70 to 80 cars at all times. We don't have a big show room that our customers would otherwise pay for. So, hat's how we can sell for less than other dealers. We will start off with the exterior of the GTO. This Car has a laser straight body with great lines and good gaps. With it being a GTO it has the dual scoop hood and hood mounted tach that is working. The '70 came with the Urethane front nose and the chrome rear bumper. The nose looks very good with some general aging and the bumper was replaced when restored. The body is covered in Cardinal Red which was factory for this car. For a car that was restored over 10 years ago the paint looks very good with a deep rich shine that's slick to the touch. It's accented by the White Convertible Top that has a new rear glass. To finish off the look it's sitting on a set of 15x7 Rallys with a set of White Letter Tires.
Next, e will look at the interior of the Convertible. On the inside it's done in the Red which is also the factory color scheme for it. It has the bucket seats and console. Looking at the dash it's all stock with only an upgrade to the radio. This GTO has the factory console and mounted 8 track tape player. The outside mirror has the remote control on the left door. Also, ou'll see that it has a red top boot to match for when the top is down.
Finally, e will take a look at the drivetrain of the Pontiac. Under the hood it all looks stock with the Matching #s 400/350 HP V8. The engine is mated to the 400 Turbo Trans with the stock style rear end. This Pontiac is dressed with the stock look having the correct valve covers and breather. Also, ou'll see this is a factory AC car that looks correct. It is a factory Power Steering and Power Disc Brakes. The floors in the Pontiac look very good and appear to be factory along with the frame.
