Lincoln Club Coupe. 1 of 831 coupes built in '47. Body style is Series 76H Club Coupe.
Mechanical: V-12 flathead enginew/3 spd w/OD on the column. 292 cu in, 30 HP. The engine does not run hot or overheat. An electric fuel pump has been added by a previous owner. Ithasfour-wheel hydraulic brakes. Runs and drives well, resents itself well. The OD tranny works well ALL the time if you manually lock it in or out; it freewheels as it should in OD, nd has compression braking if in direct drive, o the mechanical side of the tranny seems to be fine. Occasionally the kick down doesn't work automatically, feel its either a solenoid or wiring issue, haven't chased it down. Other times it kicks in/out of OD as just as it should. I'm just being totally honest! I always drive it within a 25 mile radius of my home, usually keep it in direct drive anyway (keep the overdrive locked out using lever on the dash). I've driven it on freeways a few times at 55 mph and everything was fine, s far as driving, andling, tc.
Exterior: It's had a partial, f not complete re-spray some time in the past. Paint is still very presentable, river and cruising quality, ut not "indoor show quality". 98%+ of the chrome is excellent, few small pieces here and there have minor pitting, ome pieces have been redone in the last year.
Interior:Has been replaced, s excellent to like new condition. Factory power windows, hey work fine. Everything is original except the clock, hich still looks original, ut has been updated to a quartz movement and keeps perfect time.
I've purchased another classic car that I've beenwanting for a long time.I'm selling this car, nd another car (1930 Model A alsolisted on eBay),to make room for the newest one.
It has a clear OK title and current OK license plate, ven tho' one pic shows an AL plate from previous owner.
This car is advertised for sale locally, reserve the right to end this auction at any time.
