I am selling No Reserve my Factory Five Roadster. I don't know tons and tons about it but here is what I know. It has a Ford 5.0 liter 302 bored to 0.030 over to 306ci. It has Speed Pro pistons, ord Racing B303 camshaft, ord racing valvesprings, or racing push rods, ac performance headers, ord Racing 9 mm sparkplug wires, obil 1 synthetic oil. The drivetrain is a Raceway Performance Worldclass T-5 transmission, olid motor and transmission mounts, am Clutches Performance Clutch and pressure plate, nergy suspension lower control arm bushings- urethane, .73 rear with synthetic fluid, imited slip differential- new clutches, ear Ford Racing Axles and drums, ord Racing five Lug rotors in front, ussel braided front stainless steel brake lines. The Suspension- Pole Position Racing adjustable upper control arms, ro Shocks adjustable coil over front suspension, anual steering rack, ord Racing Cobra 17" X 9" allow rims. It has Simpson five point racing seat belts. The paint color is PPO titanium metallic with Sebring silver stripes. The transmission is a 5 speed. I bought this car in Septembet of 2013 and have enjoyed owning it- I am selling because i very rarely use it. The factory five number is #FF3610.
The car is titled as a Special Construction Vehicle in PA. VIN number is listed on the title as listed on this posting. The car is easy to title and easy to insure.
The car was finished being built in 2003 and was registered and titled in September of that year. The builder sold it to the man I purchased from in 2004 and he owned it until 2013. The paint looks great up close but has a few issue areas- for some reason the paint on the rear of the car bubbled in a few areas and it isn't perfect because it bubbled. I put bullet stickers on them and just enjoyed it and drove it. There is a paint "run" on the front above the factory five emblem shown in picture. Overall if you are not a perfectionist the car looks wonderful and gets lots of compliments. If you want it perfect- you will have to have a few areas on the car repainted.
I added air deflectors on the side, dded chrome mufflers (I still have the black ones if you prefer), added factory five carpet mats. I have the original assembly manual that the builder used to complete this build.
The car runs and drives like a dream. No issues at all. I am not a Factory Five expert but I think this is either a Mark II or III- I forget- for those that really know I took a picture of the steering column because from this you can apparently tell. The transmission shifts smoothly, he car even sounds fast.
Price out just the kit for one of these, actor in the time to assemble it, he cost to paint it, nd the cost for the "extra" accessories and upgrades and you are going to get a really great deal buying this car. You can either drive and enjoy or you can tinker it to perfection. The car was built very well and is very stable, rives wonderfully and is a fast car. Small block lightness gives this car great acceleration. power and handling. I have a non-factory cover for the car, nd it comes with a cover that closes the drives compartment with the use of twobungeecords attached to the black cover- just useful if it drizzles when you drive to work.
I am happy to answer questions about the car. The car is driven by mevery rarely and if you want to inspect it prior to bidding I can meet you and take you for a drive. I just did a bunch of minor fixups on the car - the serpentine belt, tune up with new plugs, nd a few other minor items. This car should need nothing and is ready for your enjoyment. I would feel totally comfortable driving this car long distances.
