1966 Batmobile Replica - DC Comics Licensed Collectible #DC006

This is an amazing replica of the Batmobile used in the 1966 TV series. This car is fully licensed as a collectible by DC comics, nd it is built by hand to the highest standard. Specially fabricated parts are combined with top-shelf automotive components to create a car that remains true to the original - and then improves on it.

The attention to detail issimply incredible: Everything is here from the "Bat-Ray Projector" control to the "Remote Bat Computer Switch", o the "Detect-A-Scope", he "Bat-Phone" and even the "Emergency Bat-Turn Lever" (Safety first, itizen: always look both ways before executing an emergency Bat-Turn).
And what car should be without without a flame-throwing Rocket Exhaust? This car has one - and it works.In fact, ost of the controls perform some actual function. The Detect-A-Scope shows a kind of oscilloscope-type display, nd the lights on the remote computer switch flash in sequence. There are all kinds of flashers and accent lights controlled by various switches behind hidden panels in the car.
As for performance, ll we can say is: Holy Horsepower! Housed below the power-operated hood is a 383 cubic inch Blueprint GM crate motor. The motor in this car has been dyno tested at 463 hp and 471 lb-ft of torque at 4200 rpm.We don't recommend that you start chasing arch-criminals around - but ifyou did, ou would probablycatch them

This car does stray from the original in that it includes a modern stereo with CD and DVD player in the center of the dash. You can see a breakdown of all of the features in the owner's manual that is shown in the photo gallery.
This is one is a series of cars licensed by DC comics and built by the Fiberglass Freaks in Logansport, ndiana. This particular car was built on the frame of a 1978 Lincoln Town Car and it was completed in November of 2014. It is like new in every way, nd its as clean underneath as it is on top.
This is an ultra high quality, ully licensed, nd very unique piece that would be a great addition to a collection and a big attention-getter at any car show. (Bat Girl not included).
