1985 Chevrolet C10 Custom Standard Cab Pickup 2-Door 350 / 5.7L

Truck has a 1-year old crate engine in it. The powertrain is solid and the truck runs really well and has a lot of power. All the hard work has been done. It looks like a $15,000 truck from about 20 feet away and has a lot of potential. There are many little things that it needs that can be done in the comfort of your own garage. Given the overall appearance of the truck, ts new owner should be able to enjoy it while continuing to work on it. It's a good looking running project and it turns heads everywhere. Whenever I'm driving, eople roll down windows to give a thumbs up or to yell, nice truck!" Whenever I park, eople come up to say, nice truck," and start asking questions about it.
These Chevy/GMC shortbeds are becoming very desirable in the collector community. Look at what's happened with their prices in the past 5 years. LMCTruck.com has written that "growth of interest in these trucks is reflected by sales of parts for 1973-up Chevy trucks."

History of this C10:

---Based on the Carfax / AutoCheck, t appears that the truck has spent the majority of its life in Arizona, ith 13 years in Alaska. Based on the fact that there is minimal surface rust on the undercarriage, would assume that this was either a snowbird vehicle, eaning winters in AZ and summers in AK, r was always garaged and never driven in the snow.
---Previous owner bought it a few months ago, ainted it, nd was forced to sell.
---Owner before that put a brand new 350 crate engine and a rebuilt transmission into it about a year ago.
---No accidents on Carfax / AutoCheck.
---Odometer rolled over and stopped working at about 122,000 miles (just got it working again). In analyzing the recorded mileage on AutoCheck, t looks like the odometer stopped working sometime 2013-2015.
Body:
---Truck has been recently repainted. However, t is a 20-footer paint job. The prep was not very good and it has imperfections, ncluding overspray and some paint on the window seals. It looks good from a distance and gets lots of looks though. New owner will likely want to repaint it in a couple years.
---Window seals on both doors are missing. Vent window seals should also be replaced.
---The front end is from a 1991 GMC Suburban & was done for looks. The body lines are not 100% perfect as a result of this but my body-shop guy says that this can be adjusted.
---The tailgate still has Chevrolet written on it. You can either replace the rear badging to GMC or front grille to Chevy so that it matches.
---Newer headlights from LMCTruck. Headlights, urn signals, rake lights, everse lights all work. High beams are not connected.
---Door handles need to be fastened properly.
---Driver door only opens from inside.
---Passenger side rocker panel needs to be replaced. It was cut out for some reason. Either damage or rust. Already have rocker panel and will include it in sale.
Powertrain:
---Truck has a 1-year old 350 V8 crate engine. According to the the owner before the previous owner (2 owners ago), his was a brand new 350 V8 crate engine that he put in and estimates that he had driven it for about 4,000 miles before selling it 4 months ago. He cannot locate the paperwork so there is no documentation for this. True horsepower is unknown but feels like it's close to 275, ossibly more. It definitely throws you back into your seat when you accelerate.
---700R4 transmission rebuilt about a year ago.
---Newer 4 Barrel Edelbrock Carb
---Newer Flowmaster Dual Exhaust with new chrome tips. Also sounds nice.
---Lots of new components under the hood (radiator, lternator, tc.)
---Power steering, ower brakes
---Lowered
---Staggered wheels with wider wheels & tires in the back. Brand new front tires. Rear tires should be replaced really soon. Front wheels are not an identical match to the rear wheels. Look very similar but not the same.
Interior
---Power windows work but the fuse for the windows is blown once a week. Power locks do not work at this time. This means the truck cannot be locked until this is resolved
---Heater and AC not hooked up.
---No stereo and no speakers.
---Horn does not work.
---Dashboard is cracked but covered with a brand-new carpeted dash cover from LMCTruck.com.
---Speedometer, dometer, uel, nd voltage gauges work. Oil pressure gauge works on & off. Temperature gauges do not work. Speedometer & odometer would need to be calibrated to accommodate for smaller wheels/tires.
---Door panels will need work or replacement. They are salvageable but will need to be repainted. Missing components are available on LMCTruck.com.
---Original bench seat needs to be reupholstered but is in very solid shape. Brand new saddle blanket seat-cover installed on bench seat.
---Brand new 3-point retractable driver & passenger seatbelts installed. No center seatbelt.
---Newer molded carpet from LMCTruck.com. Has some drill holes from another set of seats.
