Description

1994 Caprice 9c1. Hate to see her go. Got her from a friend who collects old cop cars. I need space for my next project which is likely a Chevy Nova. Have had the car for a few months and haven't put any miles on it since. Of course test drove after doing work on it to make sure she's good. Just got a brand new water pump. Comes with the Hypertech computer to modify components of the cars computer. Has a TON of spare belts, ulleys, tc. Full sized spare. ORIGINAL 9C1 POLICE RIMS. 5 OF THEM. RIMS AND CENTER CAPS ALONE WILL GET YOU $450 EASY.
New wires, RAND NEW brakes and rotors (OVER $300 IN WORK. DO A JOB RIGHT OR DONT DO IT AT ALL). Oil and filter changed REGULARLY and changed again once I got it, till valid inspection. Engine modified with Hypertech computer. 3.43 gears in rear. She is much quicker than a stock 9c1. Last work was a BRAND NEW WATERPUMP AND GASKETS topped with correct anti-freeze. The pump had a leak which slowly depleted the coolant so I just changed the whole thing because I believe if you treat your car right, t will treat you right. Car is going on 23 years old: has a couple of paint chips from rocks and couple small dents where cops knocked some sense into some crooks. Only other minor issues is steering is a bit shaky: probably the belt. also since it was a former nypd car, here is a hidden switch to take it out of gear: fuse is blown. Dont have the time to trace which fuse it is. So until that fuse is switched (not even $2) car has to be put in neutral before starting it. Like I said, f i had the time to do these little things I could charge several hundred more.Still wonderful shape considering her history.
Asking $2600. She runs and drives just fine. However, he seems to be running a little rich. You can hear that she needs a tune and some love to get her dialed in. Just havent had the time to go get new plugs and give her a quick tune up. Since the last owner had it, t was used as a weekender/nostalgia car. Most of the issues like the brakes were because the car wasn't being used. Car is perfect for someone who wants a working, riving, unning car to do a little work on and maybe flip it for a quick buck (ones in tip top shape going in the 5k range) or have a nice classic reliable daily driver. Have 3 cars at the moment and one of em just has to go. Between me and the last owner, hes had less than 30k miles put on her IN THE LAST DECADE. Wonderful, owerful, ool car.
PRICE DROP: OFFERING $2250 for someone who is willing to just take the car and tune it up instead of me having to do the work. Tune up should cost like $50 bucks and a weekend to do. Get an additional $350 in savings just cause I dont have the time to do it myself.
