This car displays exceptional paint & body along with strong mechanicals. It is powered by its correct 396/325HP big block V8 paired with the stout TH400 automatic transmission. Features include power brakes, ower steering, nd air conditioning. This is a car you can drive and show off at the local Sonic or car show. Enjoy our presentation and feel free to contact Dave at 214-213-7072 or Maris at 214-616-2317 with any questions.
The exterior displays quality paint & body throughout with few flaws. The brightwork has been re-chromed and shows beautifully. The doors fit well as does the hood and trunk.
The wheels of choice are the factory 15-inch Rallys with beauty rings, itted with 225/70R15 whitewall radial tires all around.
Under the hood is the correct original #'s matching 396/325HP "T1208IV & 8J177494" stamped big block V8. This Towanda-born 325HP powerplant runs strong and breathes through factory cast iron manifolds to true dual exhaust. Induction has been modified with an Edelbrock intake & carburetor, ut the originals are included with the car. The engine compartment displays original sheetmetal throughout the firewall, nner fenders, nd core support. The original trim identification plate is in place as well. This car was born a different color and has been restored inside and out.
The engine stampings are clear and confirm this to be the original block, Towanda built 325HP passenger block along with the VIN stamp -"T1208IV & 8J177494"
Look closely and you'll see that induction duties have been increased via an Edelbrock aluminum intake & matching carburetor. We have the factory iron intake & carburetor included with the car. You can see that the hood hinges don't suffer from the stress that commonly causes paint issues in these areas from hood movement.
This is one good looking Impala. The chrome is excellent front to back and it is hard to pick on this beautiful paint work. This Impala wears lower, ide, nd wheel well molding/trim. There is a ding on the passenger quarter panel, pproximately half dollar sized, hown above.
The black vinyl top is in excellent condition.
The interior showcases custom black vinyl bucket seating with red inserts.
The center console is factory correct. The dash displays the original speedometer cluster. The dash is straight and in great shape. The door panels also show well, he door weatherstrip has been replaced left and right. The door undersides are solid. Check out the optional AM 8-Track Stereo.
The trunk is solid throughout. Included is this original 4bbl. carburetor and iron intake setup.
The undercarriage displays the stout factory 12-inch rear end along with original framework and good solid floorboards front to back. The rear driver's side pan has been replaced. The trailing arms and front suspension looks to be in good condition as well. This is an un-detailed honest underbody, ree of typical undercoating.
The 396 engine and TH400 transmission undersides look to be in good condition with minimum leakage.
