TheMercedes-Benz SL Roadster(formerly known as theSL Roadster) is a grand touring roadstermanufactured by Mercedessince 1954. The designationSLderives from the GermanSportlich-Leicht,(Sport Lightweight) and was first applied to the 300SL.The SL variant was a 2-seat convertible/roadster(R107) with standard soft top and optional hardtop and optional folding seats for the rear bench.
Finished in a White Metallic, his coupe shows extremely well with only minor scratches door dings only visible upon close inspection. All the trim is present, omplete and displays normal wear. The front and rear bumpers (including over-riders) fit is extremely tight and finish is very good with minor scratches. The front driving lights are bumper mounted, ree of chips and cracks and operated as designed.. The black soft top has the same excellent fit with the rear window showing little or no scratching or hazing. The weather-stripping is pliable, ith only a few signs of drying, earing or shrinkage.
