1987 Cadillac Allante Gold on Saddle Interior Hard Top Convertible Pininfarina body
A real classic and sure to rise in value over the years as only 3,000 or so made in 1987 and a total production volume spanning 1987-1993 of just over 20,000
I've read Allante car clubs estimate maybe 8,000 of them left on the road.
I took good care of this one for 5 or so years and enjoyed it but other projects are prompting me to sell.
I have it sitting on 16 inch Cadillac CTS rims that I painted and polished with Bridgestone Ecopia Tires
New items since I've owned the car:
ABS Pump and Relay - New from Allante Source $800Recently redone front brakes- fronts and rears were done with new pump when I acquired the carRadiatorHeater CoreFuel InjectorsSpark PlugsPlug WiresPolished Stainless Magnaflow Muffler and Stainless Exhaust tip (sounds real nice and throaty)Passenger side window regulator fix from Allante Source $85 for aluminum piece to replace plastic block that breaksSwapped out faulty power supply unit with correct part number unit (see Allante Source website)Recent Oil ChangeTop Pull Down Motor was rebuiltNew Trunk lift strutsOil pan gasketJUST replaced rear Oxygen Sensor
Dash all works greatRuns and Drives Great
Some things do not work which is typical of these cars and would need attention, ome TLC
AC does not work, ll there just doesn't workCruise Control does not workIdle speed control is faulty and disconnected leaving an Engine Fault light on on the dash, ar idles and drives fine, hen it's cold it has to be warmed up, ould be better to replace this I just hadn't gotten to it yet, art is around $50
Electric door locks inside the car do not work, therwise door locks on outer handles work fineA couple tears in soft top where it rubs against inner workings on drivers side, appens on these carsCrack in pass. side headlight glass that does not affect it's function, t runs across the fog light section and I have it sealed with silicone to keep out moisture, arely see it when looking at front of carDriver side headlight glass has a star rock chip that I think could be fixed by Novus type service
I'll be continuing to fix small things and be cleaning the car as it's listed for sale. It is my driver at the moment as my truck is down and the reason for sale, eed my truck and it's time to do the motor so other projects force the sale of this car which I have thoroughly enjoyed!
******Please ask questions I'm happy to answer anything about the car I may have forgotten or that you are curious about before bidding*****

Hard Top included. Has a very nice headliner and upholstery on hard top. Paint on hard top has some scratches where previous owner used to lift it off with a sling he rigged up, ot very noticeable, lso the rear of the hard top below back window the paint is lifting and peeling. If I was keeping the car I would just eventually have Hard Top reshot in same Gold and it's fine, ompletely functional now but paint flaws should be mentioned.
