This truck is a real rat rod. No cheap imitation here. It has a very colorful history. About that; I found it at a rural area mechanic shop. Back in 2008 I stopped to ask about it and he said that it was for sale. He said that he had had it for some time and used it for mud bogs and hill climbs. He even was able to get it to climb over an old junk car. He said he had bought it from a local farmer and that it had sat in a fence row for about ten years. He put a battery in, rimed the old carb, nd with very little trouble had it running. Back then it was a four wheel drive and a four cylinder. I purchased it from him and I transformed the truck into my rat rod. "The Mad Ratter" . I then list it in a barn fire! Yes, complete loss! I then began again to bring it back from the ashes. I've labored many hours making this machine and it has brought me quite a bit of joy, ttention and notariaty . Its now time to move on to more builds and ideas.
