1977 Dodge Street Van wedge Chop top

Up for your consideration is one out of mycollection of older radical custom Vans . This is a true street van with factory paint . As you can see its not a rust bucket hence the reason when i bought this truck 5 years ago .At that time i installed a new motor and good transmission itsequippedwith a 360 4 br and a 727 auto trans . The top was chopped by my self and some help with a few good friends . It has solid welds done via Mig one small tap at a time to reduce heat( Many hours !!! .) The front window frame was formed with using a window buck with rubber seals .The side door is a lift up and swing out configuration with an 8 inch filler panel added with a "C"pillarand all metal . All the foot wells also have been filled in andsupported . The doors are Suicide and cutdownand capped . The head lights where moved up an inch and a half so you need to make a custom grill . All the welded areas where covered with a thin layer of fiber glass filler as that's the best product to use . I have 68 Camaro tail light housing i cut out of a pan i was going to use for the light buckets but never installed them . It has Old school one off set wheel flares that areextremelyrare how ever they need to be fitted and not perfect. This Van does run i started it last week but your not driving it cross state only up to a trailer .The wheels are Cragars SS with a reverse offset the front tires will need to be a bit smaller .This Van is what it i, t has 15k in metal work alone and still need more to be finished . How ever wedge chop top vans are hard to find in good shape . She going to need some body work and paint and some metalfinishing. ( the side door ) and the door tops need a littletweaking. The are all latched and close really nice .
