It is in excellent, ostly all original condition inside and out with only one beautiful repaint and an all original interior. This Cadillac in my opinion is "One of the nicest, riginal 1951 Packard 300's around, ffered for sale in a long time". It has been repainted once over the years in its original colors of two tone Packard Ash Green with a Packard Valient Green Metallic top. She was special ordered and since day one this Packard has always been well maintained not only cosmetically, ut also mechanically. Believe it or not, ost all the chrome and trim on this car and is completely original and in amazing condition. The chrome on the car looks like it just came off the showroom floor. This car was kept inside and treated, s a true Collector Car should be! The car is completely rust free and solid as a rock as it spent its whole life in great storage, lot of which was right here in Scottsdale. It is super straight down the sides. It has a beautiful all original interior in it that looks amazing! It is original right down to the original carpet and floor mats that still look amazing. The steering wheel, orn ring and dash is in absolutely amazing original condition, hey look like new. Everything works in the car right down to the original AM radio. All the chrome and trim on the dash is bright and clean as new. Inside the trunk is original with its original trunk material (under the carpet), pare tire and jack.
Mechanically, he engine and transmission run flawlessly! This Packard drives with no issues at all! The original numbers matching motor provides great power to move this little diamond around. The car fires right up and runs great. Driving down the road there are no squeaks or rattles and that's wonderful coming from a 60 plus year old car. The engine compartment is all stock and original. The originally came equipped with the Packard Ultramtic Dive automatic transmission which was professionally changed over to a more reliable Packard standard transmission with overdrive. The previous owner was a Packard fanatic and did the change because the standard was much more reliable and fun to drive. The car is an absolute pleasure to drive. Fire her up and she's ready to cruise.
All and all, his 1951 Packard is one of most interesting and unique '50's classics on the market today!
