1953 Chevy 3100 6K miles on rebuilt 216 ci straight 6 engine & transmission.
Very solid mechanical and frame condition. No frame rot.Fun, ead turning daily driver.
Engine tune up: April 2016 - It just purrs.Over $9000 Work Completed Since 2013 (have receipts). Well over $25,000 invested.
Here's a classic divorce settlement sob story for you. I bought this for my ex-wife who just had to have a vintage truck. Yep. Ex wife. I got the Yorkshire Terrier and truck. I'm keeping the Yorkie but I have to sell the truck as I no longer have a garage and this baby should be garaged and loved.
The truck was purchased to be used a daily driver. It has a great frame, ngine, ransmission, ab, teering, rakes ... but the previous owner slapped a cheap white paint job over the original forest green finish without doing a frame-off restoration. You can see some signs of rust popping through the paint job.
My advice - get this baby now, un it for the summer, ang around in it. It turns heads all day long as you do errands or carry tools. Then, n the future, hink about doing either doing a frame off paint job, r just continue to apply a few more band aids.
I've set a low opening bid price and three day sale. Unfortunately I need to move this truck and get on with my life.
Who ever gets this truck is going to get a really fun daily driver of a work truck - not a chicken shit trailer queen that you have to dust off every 10 minutes.

Once again, he back story ...This originally forest green 1953 Chevy 3100 lived in Florida for most of its life. Brought to Michigan ca 2000. It was sold to a couple on Nantucket who painted it white (cheap ass, uick and dirty job) and used it only for their daughter's wedding. I bought it to use as a daily driver and had intentions of doing a full frame-off restoration back to its original green color.
Known issues - minor, low coolant drip from passenger cab heater. Do like the farmers did - throw in a couple of tablespoons of black pepper and you’ll be good. 6 volt battery likes to go on the charger every month or so not sure if this is a generator or battery issue.
The truck is in Hyannis, A. As we say in Massachusetts - this is a wicked good deal. Please ask questions here on the listing so others can benefit from the answers. This sale is absolutely final - no frigg'n cry babies allowed. This is great running, reat driving truck for a song. Dig?
