Description

Up for sale is my pride and joy. I have worked on every single aspect of this mustang for the last 7 years bringing her up to very high standards. It is safe to say that every moving part on this vehicle has been upgraded or replaced and only has about 1000 miles at most on it. Body: 1968 mustang hardtop coupe with complete Eleanor fiberglass kit installed. These kits alone are $4000 plus the labor to install. This car is very much a head turner so don't consider buying if you aren't a fan of attention and answering a lot of questions. Engine: 347 Stroker build to 410HP. Edelbrock aluminum performer heads, delbrock intake and 750 carb with electric choke. Exhaust: Ceramic coated headers that feed custom side exit flowmasters. This thing sounds nasty and has a tone you have never heard, guarantee it. Transmission: Originally an automatic car I converted to a manual with a freshly rebuilt and upgraded T5. This thing shifts like a dream and is a smooth as silk. No crazy racing clutch that is impossible to engage, ust a nice driving car. Hurst shifter inside to complete the look. Interior: Completely redone with procar scat seats and matching rear covers. Instrument bezel upgraded to aluminum face gauges that are electronic. Carpet is perfect. Rear end: Ford traction lok 3.73 gears in the standard 8" housing. Brakes: All lines and booster/master cylinder new. SS lines instead of carbon steel. SSBC disc brakes all the way around with black calipers that look great behind the wheels and really fill them out. Electrical: Every single wire is new. I completely redid all wiring with an American Autowire kit so no torn or frayed/chewed/brittle wires in this car. Wheels/Tires: Foose rims with brand new Nexen tires. This set is $2000 and has about 500 miles on it. Driving Experience: I have owned a lot of mustangs and other vehicles over the years and I must say this one is in a class all by itself. The drive is exhilarating and the side exit flowmaster exhaust is something special. The car drives straight and true down the road and the steering feel is great. This was a manual steering car that I converted to power steering with a borgeson kit(the kit alone is over $1000). The brakes are solid and dialed in just right but do have an adjustable proportioning valve if you please. They do not pull to the side but plant the car nicely. A huge upgrade from the manual drums it left the factory with! The engine starts right up even after sitting for a month or two. This car is ready to enjoy for years because literally everything is updated and new. You can park it on a brand new white carpet living room and no drops of anything hit the floor. This is a great car and I am very reluctant to sell but I'm ready to move on to my next project. The ONLY things I would consider doing on this car to make it even better are redoing the chrome on the windows for driver and passenger. It isn't bad at all, ust some minor pitting. The paint is an easy 8+ or 9 out of 10. Very deep black that shines like new. A few minor spots here and there where the fiberglass pieces mold into the sheet metal but nothing you would really notice. This car had its body work done in 2010 so the paint job is fairly fresh. It is garaged at all times and only gets out on nice sunny days for car shows. I have taken it to several over the years and won a few first place trophies, econds and thirds. PS: The pictures with dates are incorrect. The photos were taken last fall and the car looks exactly the same today. You are welcome to call or text with questions: My name is Tyler, 17-773-9757

I do want to add that I have a very nice 3 ring binder full of receipts for most all items and any work I outsourced, hich wasn't much. It is organized into categories like Engine, ransmission, ody, nd Interior. Hey, hat can I say, 'm an engineer! I'm sure these receipts total upwards of $10,000 and that doesn't include the Eleanor kit or body work or the car itself!

The ONLY rust found anywhere on the vehicle is shown in two pictures. The bottom leading corner of the passenger door has a bubble about the size of a half dollar of surface rust. The drip rail on the driver side door has a small bubble where it meets the roof line. Both could be ground out and repainted easily for hundreds of dollars. It isn't where the fiberglass panels are joined to the body so it's basic metalwork.
