This is the true classic Chevy’s enthusiast’s dream, ith the glass pack tone and a 275hp 327 small block, ith all the extras every one desires such as air conditioning, ower steering, rakes and cruise control.

The 1962 model featured new “C” pillar styling for all models except the 4-door hardtop. Sport Coupe models now featured the “convertible roof” styling. This style proved extremely popular, nd contributed to the desirability of the 1962–1964 Impalas as collectibles. The “overhang” roof style of the sedans was replaced with a more attractive, ider “C” pillar with wraparound rear window.

Finished in a brilliant combination of Ermine White (code 936) Impala with red trim. The front and rear chrome bumpers are tight and finish is exquisite. The front grill is in very good condition as is the rear aluminum panel, howing only minor signs of aging All trim pieces are present and have a great finish. The headlights with period correct “eyelids” and taillights with “jeweled” blue dots are in very condition with no hazing or cracks. This Impala has an attractive stance with the hard to find rear fender skirts.

Inside, his Chevy features it’s original striped Red cloth/vinyl (code 874) and the front and rear bench seats looks great. The contrasting red door panels, arpet and dashboard are a continuation of the striking interior of this sedan and look fantastic. The red headliner completes rest of the interior and is in very good condition. The weather-stripping is excellent, ith little or no signs of drying, earing or shrinkage. All the original equipment gauges are well placed, ave correct appearance as originally design with the tasteful addition of three gauge pod (water, olt, il) mounted under the dash SunPro tachometer mounted on the steering column. The functioning heater and air conditioning, dealer installed correct Fridgidare A/C compressor with Sears under dash blower. The original Impala designed three spoke steering wheel are in very good condition.

This ’62 Impala is nicely equipped with a 275hp Turbo Fire 327cid Chevrolet V8 engine fed by a Edelbrock 4 barrel carburetor, delbrock aluminum intake, olished air cleaner, olished valve covers. Power is transferred to the wheels by a 700R-4 Powerglide with overdrive automatic transmission. Custom dual exhaust with glass packs give this Impala the muscle car sound. Drivers assist features include power steering, ower brakes and cruise control. The 14-inch original steel wheels with Impala hub caps with faux “knock offs” whitewall tires and exterior matching rear fender skirts .
