This Ford was purchased in 1948 by a co-worker, ho would be the third owner. The 2 men met working at the Oakland International Airport. When the older mechanic retired he sold this to his friend at work.Thatfriendran the car around for 15 years before parking it 2 decades. It then went to his daughter who stored it another 2 decades. They parked it when there son was an infant and sold it to me when he was a man. I bought the car and shined it up for 25 hours. Its nice. The car turns over from the key but Ihaven't got it to fire. Ididn't try very hard though. Ididn't change the points or anything. They said it ran but had a bad axle. There may be an axle available if I go back. I love the car but have the chance of alifetime to get somethingelse I want very badly. This car should go to someone who knows there stuff. I heardthe slats in the roof are very rare, s it asuper coupe or something? I did order to fresh tires so the old car will be sitting right. As usual we will ship this anywhere you like. I hope to find it a deserving home very soon, arris.
