1970 Chevelle that I pulled from a barn in the fall of 2015. It is a 350 car with turbo 350 automatic. Non original motor...never checked the tranny. Had not been running for around fifteen years. Engine had been partially torn apart, ut in the car. No carb...no intake...no exhaust...distributor...radiator - you get the idea. Drive train was still in place though. Interior had been thrown out because of varmint destruction. Got it home and started cleaning it. Bought new carb, ntake, eaders, alve covers, ir cleaner, lugs, ires, sed radiator. I am sure more... pulled gas tank and cleaned it and bought new straps. Bought new calipers, ads, oses, ines for the front brakes. Had a used Master cylinder. New wheel cylinders for the back brakes. At that point got it fired up and it moves. Runs...moves...stops. But it needs a total restoration. When we got into the front brakes we found that they had done some welding on the frame...doesn't look rotted.... maybe it was cracked. It is on the drivers side by the the front spring... it was like splatter welded. Then they added some under the frame in the front by the seams...I would change it. I have a front half frame here or a full frame that is rotted a bit that I can throw in...one or the other. No rear end in full frame. No idea if it is a real SS. Title says it is but... Does have rear sway bar and boxed control arms... 10 bolt rear. Trim tag does say it was a Red car with saddle bucket seat interior. As far as condition, t needs a bunch...no way is it road worthy. There is lots of rust and lots of mud in this car. But it is not all ripped apart as many are...... I am just out of room.
