1966 Chevrolet Biscayn, 54 vin numbe, orrect 396 and very RARE and also with rare PS & PB options. Paint is fresh SATIN White (flat white). According to production numbers there were somewhere around 200 or a little less 1966 Biscayne's produced with big block 396 or 427. About 30-40 were 427 cars and those were mostly bought as race cars by dealerships. So take those out of the equation, aybe 160 were produced with the 396 option.
Here is the rest of the scoop. I have stacks and stacks of receipts, o ide what they total up to, am sure well over $10,000 already invested. It's not 100% finished, eeds headliner, robably a lower gear to match the engine and tranny, ever got that far. needs exhaust pipes, eaving it open headers so the new owner has options. It really could have used floor pans, here is some rust but all of that has been patched on top side. Since it was going to be a cruiser and not a show car, let it slide. The hood and drivers door needs some alignment to get the gaps right. I should have adjusted the door when I had the front clip off....my bad. The front end needs alignment, aybe shocks. This is not a show car, t was intended to be a very bad ass street rod or cruiser, guess you could call it a rat rod but its not that "ratty", omewhere between a rat rod and a street cruiser. This thing sounds like it needs to be on the drag strip. Again, he car is 50 years old, t is not perfect and I am not claiming it is by any means. But when was the last time you found a rare matching number big block Biscayne?
.
Again, t is not perfect, ut is well on the way, ost of the really hard stuff is done.
