Land Cruiser Nationis selling this 1979 FJ40 for our customer. The truck is currently in Michigan. There are several photos if you click on the link.

Over a year of work and WAY over 100K in parts, abor, lood, weat and tears was expended torestore this 1979 FJ40 for Rusty Wallace Toyota in 2008. They built her from the ground up. It was the centerpiece of his Toyota Dealership in TN. More recenlty. the brakes were completely gone through by Toyota in 2014. The truck is close to flawless and everything works as it should with the exception of the odometer which like so many FJ40’s has gotten stuck over the last couple years (less that 500 miles ago). She’s been driven very sparingly and only in the summer on nice days since the restoration. We have several photos from the restoration. The truck is pretty much stock with the exception of the Webercarburetor.


This old school 4WD serves up an awesome combination of off-roading prowess. Front disc and rear drum brake combination will bring all you to a quick and uneventful stop.The color is the original Toyota color code 309 (Freeborn Red). This FJ40 comes with Owners Manual, ack & Jack Rods.

Here's an FJ40 that was restored with no regard for a budget. Whatever it needed, t got. It's every bit as functional and capable today as it was in when it drove off the showroom floor. It's right at home at your favorite Sunday Ice Cream Shop next to other vintage cars, r conquering the Rubicon.
