1966 Plymouth Barracuda, All Original unrestored!!

This first generation Barracuda was purchased from the original Lady ownerretrieved from her garage, he same one it lived its entire life since her purchase in 1966. The car was local to us here in Erie, A and the local Chrysler-Plymouth Dealer at that time Dahl Motors, as located less than one mile from the owners long term residence.
This is a totally original, ompletely unrestored car that hs been driven only 66,994 miles from new. For reasons unknown, he owner stopped driving the car regularly in 1973 evidence by the last state safety inspection being completed that year. From that time on she would only take the car out once a year for a service and a few miles of exercise. Even that use stopped around 1995 when her health no longer permitted this to be done. Once we acquired the car a very thorough service wasperformed to make the car safe, eliable and roadworthy after sitting in good dry storage for such a long time.Our major storage service included the following work: Replacement of battery 4 tires, uel filter, as tank, omplete exhaust system master cylinder, ll wheel brake cylinders, rake hoses, rake shoes and all tune up parts. All fluids were changed, ooling system flushed, arburetorrebuilt, ull brake service and lubrication of all suspension components. The result of this service is a car that runs drives and performs about as close to a new 1966 Barracuda as you will ever find. The car is smooth, ight and overall has that unmistakablefeel of an originalunmolested car. Everything on the car works as it should.
This Barracuda is 100% original paint in the original color of Raven Black with a beautiful two-tone White/Tan interior. Paint has some flaws as you would expect on a 50-year-old original paint car but overallis very presentable. No, ouch up ever and the factory painted originalpinstripe is still in place. Chrome, lass, nd trim are very nice. Interior is near mint having never sat in the sun for any length of time. Trunk compartmentis mint also. The engine compartment isundisturbed from original and how it has aged.
This is a 273 Cubic inch V-8 Barracuda with Torquflite automatic transmission, ower brakes, M radio, eluxe wheel covers and whitewall tires. It really is a very pleasant easy to drive the car with adequate performance and good reliability. There are no surprises with this rare find of a totally original 1966 Barracuda.
