1954 Willys m38a1 military radio jeep

Up for auction, 1954 Willys military radio jeep.
Body shows evidence that heavy radios and batteries were mounted in the back. Extra support brackets are in the wheel wells, ntenna mounting holes are in the corner, nd power cables are present.
Suspension has rare rear coil helper springs, aking jeep sit higher.
Body needs attention in the front floors mostly due to rust, nd the dings in the sides.Frame has surface rust all over, ut does not appear compromised. Springs In rear need replacing, s the clips have given up and the leaves separated. May be possible to just get new clips...
Engine was recently rebuilt and has no miles on it...expensive
Original 24v electicals and waterproof distributor, tarter, nd carburetor. Army Fuel tank holds fuel and no rust out. Need a good cleaning out, aybe liner?
Overall a good, riginal jeep to restore, r use as is with paint, inor electrical work, rake checkup, nd seat cushions. At my low reserve, ou can part it out and just use the engine in your restoration!
