Selling a 1943 Ford GPW. This is a Willys Jeep manufactured by Ford. It has a clear title. When I transferred the title from California to Ohio, here were complications because there was no VIN on the Jeep. So, eventually had to get a self built title for it. I was told that was the only way to go without a VIN on the vehicle. It has a VIN and a clear title now.
I sold this on ebay a month ago and the buyer backed out saying he didn't have the money. Hence, he relisting.
It has not been started in 5 and a half years. When I stopped using it 5 years ago, he Jeep/engine was running great. About 2 or 3 years ago I tried to start it and the engine turned over fine, ut it didn't fire up and I didn't try very hard.
Today I went out and put a wrench on the main drive shaft bolt and it turned over just fine.
It has a straight 6 cylinder Kaiser motor.I have a tow bar for it, anvas doors and a canvas top.
I inflated the tires, ut the tow bar on it and towed it down the street today. Nothing is seized, t towed fine. The tow bar has a 2" bar in case you'd like to tow it home but I'm not sure how long the rear tires will hold air.
Please let me know if you have any questions. You are welcome to come over and check it out.
Local pick up only. No delivery.
I'll accept cash, ashiers check or PayPal. No international.
Thanks for taking a look.
