1957 MESSERSCHMITT KR 175---other makes---hot rod---project

I KNOW THERE WERE NO 1957 KR 175,s---but here it is--V.I.N. tag shows it, ag seems to match number stamped on cross member by pedals, irst number is very hard to see, ut appears to be right, ther numbers are fairly clear----the last 175 should have been made in 1955----history of Messerschmitt shows Fritz Fend built 9 roadsters called sports to have the lowest price car available. These cars had no top---the side rails were dropped by 4 inches, nd they came standard with pull starter and no reverse-----------this car has no top, ide rails are lower but it has electric start and reverse + factory jack--------------I bought it out of display case in antique store, ut new batteries on it ;yes it has 2 batteries; and with a little gas shot in carb it starts---engine sounds good but is running very rich, think. It 4 strokes, uns about the same speed at idle or with pedal on floor-------it has a mukini on i, he stock bing is included but parts are missing, here is box of parts included. I have a new kr200 canopy and top assembly that is included in sale. I don't know who made canopy, bought 6 of them years ago and this is the last one. Had ideas of making a half breed but this thing could be to valuable to screw up. paint is very nice---upholstery is good amature---don't think it is wired under dash except to start and run,---don't have key to switch on left of dash, t could control lights etc.-----have had several kr200s but this is a different animal--- gears seem to all be there including reverse, rakes stop it-------what you see is what you get----I don't know if it is real-----a one off custom-----and I have read that sales on these were so slow that some were sold in kit form----WE WILL SEE WHAT YOU THINK IT IS WORTH-------for sale until reserve is met-------870-324-4124-----GOOD TITLE---- SEE OTHER ITEMS FOR SALE
