It features an all steel body. Everything fits nicely and delivers a very striking version of this very popular automobile. The quality of craftsmanship of the build should make for a very reliable and enjoyable car to drive and enjoy. All of the mechanical upgrades and changes have been well thought out and produce a very nice finished package. This is a near show quality car that will bring many miles of driving pleasure. It will surely draw a crowd wherever it goes. I found very good workmanship everywhere I could inspect. The car presents well and has a very straight body that seems to be all original body panels. All the gaps and alignments of the panels are very nice. The doors have a very distinct solid thud when closed which attest to the very solid construction of the car. All the major body panels are straight and so very true. continuous lines from front to rear. The exhaust system including the Hooker headers and Flomax mufflers were very professionally installed with 3" exhaust and tail pipes. This is a very nice combination for the size and HP of the GM Crate 502ci engine. With the Edelbrock induction and this very efficient exhaust system should allow for a very efficient and useful power curve. . The rear discs and front disc brake setup is a good combination for this type of car. The rotors are cross drilled. Steering is a an efficient power steering system with a custom Billet pump. The transmission shifter is on the console and has the correct indents for the overdrive 4L80 transmission The engine is a ZZ502 crate engine direct from GM and is a very nice power plant for this car with about 450hp. This coupled with the very reliable 4L80 Automatic transmission makes this a very drivable combination. The transmission has a shift kit installed. which gives you a very defined shift sequence. The engine compartment and surrounding area has a lot of add on aluminum and chrome trim which set this car off very nicely. The serpentine belt system is a very reliable drive belt system and is a nice modern upgrade. The drive system drives the power steering pump. the water pump and the air conditioner and the alternator. Two 12" Puller fans that should more than handle all the cooling requirements for this car under almost any driving condition. All the electrical systems work the way they should and al the gauges work as well. The interior features very comfortable and flexible front seats built by Glide Mfg. The interior is finished in a very stock looking material which is good looking and very serviceable. The door panels are upholstered to match and the black wool carpet sets off the interior very nicely. The paint job is in very good condition. There are a few scuffs that come normally from the use of the vehicle. There is nothing immediately distracting. The car shows very well and will provide a number of years of service the way it currently is. All things considered this is a very nice example of a 1970 Chevelle SS with power train upgrades that compliment the car very nicely. The paint is in very good shape and will allow for many awards at car shows and will be serviceable for a long time. Everything look fresh and will be a hit anywhere it is driven or shown.
