1967 AUSTIN HEALEY 3000 BJ8, 4 Owner Original 29,000 Mile Car

Up for auction is my RED 1967 Austin Healey 3000 BJ8 with black interior which is the car’s factory color. This is an original 29,000 mile vehicle with complete owner history. I am the fourth owner of this vehicle. Every aspect of this car has been restored by Highland Automotive Restorations andthe vehicle is a multi-car show winner. This car has also achieved a Silver level certification in the Concours d’Elegance, ustin-Healey Concours Registry and would involve minimal effort to achieve Gold certification..

It has new glove leather seating, have the original vinyl seat covers that are in very good condition, nd wool carpeting. I also have the original banjo style steering wheel that needs restoration. In addition, he car comes with its original convertible top cover that is in excellent condition, onneau cover that is in good condition and has been repaired over the years, nd its original door panels. The convertible top material is not original to the car; however, he top is a new old stock Everflex original convertible top that is in excellent condition. This car also has a modern classic look AM/FM stereo radio with an MP3 input.

Everything on this vehicle is in excellent working order, ncluding the electric overdrive. It has original style Michelin ZX radial tires and new Dayton chrome wire wheels made in the USA, i>not Dunlops wire wheels which are made in China. It also has a new original style mild steel exhaust system which is no longer manufactured and was secured through a lengthy search and great expense. The exhaust system is painted black, s it was when these cars left the factory. The mild steel systems offer that GREAT exhaust note that Healeys are famous for and which cannot be replicated with the new stainless steel systems.

The engine starts right up, uns strong, nd does not burn oil. The transmission also shifts easily and goes through the gears smoothly, ncluding overdrive. Additionally, lease note from the pictures that the engine compartment, ndercarriage, ender wells, nd trunk are all painted the vehicle’s color RED, ot black like so many of the partial or cheaper restorations. This car is an excellent driver with a current value of $90K by Hagerty Classic Car Valuation.
