Alright. . . where to start. Words like, onster, ing, east are the first to come to mind after you take this one out for a spin. Now, work for a dealer that specializes in German and exotic motors. Even I have to say the boys in Detroit got this one right! There is something about this car that is just smile inducing. You look at it and it has a creatine packed feel to it, t's muscular and sleek at the same time. Chevy finally hired some designers to get this one looking proper!
So, et's talk about some stats. 650 ft lbs of torque. Yes, ou read that right 650!! Even the boys with the Ferrari 488's can't claim that type of torque on their $350k + vehicles. I'll give you a little virtual test drive here. So, et's jump in the car. You sit down in the vehicle and you finally find a pretty plush interior. Leather wrapped everything, very nice looking navigation system with a cubby hole to hide well whatever you think you should hide. Speeding tickets maybe. . .
You depress the clutch pedal and start this absolute mean beast from Detroit City and listen to 650 hp fire up. Thankfully, t's 4:00 pm in the afternoon and there's plenty of happening around. If not, his baby would wake up the neighbors! There's that iconic American muscle growl to this Z06. So, ull out of the lot here at 6625 L Street in Omaha, ebraska and roll onto L street. Then you gently push down on the gas pedal in first gear and it's an absolute behemoth!! Torque for days, ower for days, nd just absolutely incredible speed!!
I had the unique opportunity to be able to drive these on track a couple months ago and I can tell you that like any publication has reviewed these. The turn-in on these is absolutely incredible. Super precise, mazingly responsive for a longer front end and the grip will just make you feel like a genius on turn in. The car rotates really nicely around the corners and you can really feel the vehicle electrical dynamic system coming into play. It really won't let you get crazy unless you try. If you try, ake sure you are buckled up as this thing could be an absolute drifting machine.
