1937 McLaughlin Buick Special (model 40)
mostly original (what i have changed can easily be changed back, ave all original parts that I have replaced and they will be included in sale)

replaced generator with alternator (6 volt)replaced points with electronic ignitionreplaced fuel pump with electric pump
replaced head lights and reflectors
have original Canadian Shop Manual
original U.S. Dealer Service Bulletins & Owners Manual ( U.S.,)& a reprinted U.S. shop manualService Bulletins gives list of the different parts used on theMcLaughlin Buickand the U.S. part numbers
Has original upholstery under new covers( small tear on drivers seat) head liner has a couple of small tears
changed engine (have original and will be included in sale)
new glass front and rear
speedometer rebuiltrear axle bearings and seals replaced
floor pans and rockers original solid not rotted
pic. you see with small battery is only "in play " when starting - 12 volt and has no charging. it is currently dead and will need to be replaced if you choose. it really makes the engine spin over greatthere is also a main disconnect switch for the 6 volt system (you can see back of in pic. w/battery and inside on pic of r/side floor
radio not working it is only the face. i will include a complete radio (probably does not work either) i have never tried it.
all gauges work but tank is empty when gauge shows about 1/8th tank
all front end has been redone - drives great
if sold to a new york buyer i will includde license plates
