1967 Chevelle SS 396 Convertible. This is a real 138 car and has the matching number engine and original rear. The car came from the factory with a two speed power glide but it was removed and a turbo 400 was put in its place. The color combination is factory red with black interior and came from the Baltimore MD plant. I have owned this far for around 10 years and it has sat in the garage since and is in the exact condition I purchased in. I had intentions of fully restoring the car with a frame off restoration as this is what it needs. The reason I'm selling the car is that I have come to the realization that I no longer have the time desire and most of all money to complete the car the way it should be. If you are looking at this then you know what it is and what the value of it would be if restored properly. I have sold off three other collectible cars on eBay in the last year and a half and this will be the last one.The car when I purchased ran and drove the motor didn't smoke and the transmission shifted fine. The brakes are another story and need to be completely redone. The transmission is not original and leaks fluid from the front seal. The rear is the original 12 bolt and I do not recall the gear ratio. The car is fairly original and correct other than the horn button is wrong and the transmission and shifter. While the car is an excellent restoration project please remember this car needs allot of work and attention. To be honest the pictures make the car look better than it is. The car has been painted in the past and has numerous dings dents and scratches rust and has body filler in spots again the car needs a full restoration . Some may fix it mechanically and drive it like it is. I will let the pictures describe the car.You are welcome to come look at the car and it is recommended that you do. The car has not been driven since the day it was placed in the garage so please be aware of this it can't be driven and would need to be towed away. I have many pictures of the car and welcome all questions so please ask. The car is being sold as is and has no warranty. Buyer is responsible for shipping the car but I will gladly meet the carrier when the pickup is made. Thank you for looking and good luck bidding
