Austin Healey Sebring

This is a nearly finished 2007 Sebring MX5000 Austin Healey replica. This is a brand new 2007 model thatis almostcompleted. It is made up of ALL BRAND NEW parts.
It still needs to have glass installed,
the hood latch, rear fender liners, seat belts, and the convertible top.
The hood latch, seat belts, convertible top, windshield frame,
Side/vent widow frames and tracks included.

This has the same chassis as the Ford Cobra reproduction cars made by "Classic Roadsters II".
I have the original origination sheet from the manufacturer, which is required to title this
once it is completed. It has never been titled.
I will only sell this as a package. It runs and can move under its own power at this point.
I would consider trading for a nice rust free classic car. A 64 or 65 Thunderbird is at the top of my interests, or a Datsun 280z or ZX.
I have offered this for sale before, but before anyone came to see it I got motivated to do more work on it and decided not to sell. At this point I just lost interest in it.

I bought this kit from the landlord of a local dealer for these cars. The dealer had just begun building this car for himself, but he went bankrupt and owed the landlord money. The landlord kept the car as part of the settlement. The dealer provided the landlord with the origination sheet for the car, which I have, and it comes with the car. It is the document that you will need to get the car titled.

The suspension and steering rack and rear axlehad been installed, and a set of used Ford wheels (as seen in the pictures. These wheels are the only used parts.) The body was painted and just sitting loose on the chassis. I bought the car in October of 2014 andput in the engine, trans, driveshaft, wiring, interior, dash, etc., etc., etc. A lot of the trim was missing. The bumpers, grill, and fender beds are reproduction Austin Healey parts bought from Moss Motors.

There is currently no emergency brake cable. The handle, and the rear emergency brake apparatus is al in place. Just the cable needs to be purchased and installed. A windshield came with the car, but it was broken and will need to be replaced. The old one can be used for a pattern to cut a new one from laminated safety glass. The vent window glass and frames, and one door window glass came with the car, and are new. The other door window glass will need to be cut, using this one for a pattern.

The car driven 0 miles. I have driven it a total of about 500 feet, a couple of trips down my driveway. The suspension, brakes and steering are all new, but the steering has not yet been aligned.

Bumpers:
The bumpers are actual Austin Healey bumpers, not the plain looking bumpers that come with these kits. You may notice in the photos that some bolts are missing. I have chrome bolts that go with the car, and I also have brand new chrome Austin Healey bumper guards that go with the car. The bumpers should be remounted using the chrome bolts.
Hub caps:Thecentercaps shown in the pictures come with the car, along with two sets of new chrome lug nuts, but I have not been able to properly attach the center caps to the wheels. The caps are not broken, but I can't get them to securely attach.
Fender bead chrome trim:
This kit did not come with the chrome trim beads that go on the front fenders and rear quarters, so I purchased Austin Healey trim beads and used them. They fit the car perfectly, but they are not as wide as the version that comes with the kit cars, and on the very back of the left rear quarter a couple of the mounting holes are not entirely covered by the bead. Otherwise, the beads fit perfectly, and look better than the wider style that came with these cars. I can provide photos for your inspection via Email.
