1964 Riley Elf Mark 2Barn Find
850cc motorMagic wand shifterBody is in very nice shape and has been repainted at some point in its lifeInterior is very complete 1960's vintage and shows wearSliding windowsFloors and rockers are solidTrunk has one spot of rust through about 2 inches longCar is very complete and worthy of a full restorationThe engine turns by hand but I have not attempted to start itWhen I purchased the car, the carb was not attached. It is currently in place and hooked up but would probably need a rebuildI changed the oil and the old oil was cleanIt has hydro suspension which is in need of a refill. I do have an extra set of hydro-elastic bagsThis Elf has been sitting in a garage for 10-15 years. The previous owner purchased it and passed away before putting it on the roadI do not have a title or registration for the vehicleI do not believe it would take much to get this running but it is a project
For those unfamiliar with The Elf, it is basically a well-appointed Austin Mini with a trunk and modified grill
My plan was to restore this over the summer but have to replace my daily driver and can no longer put the necessary funds into the Elf
Transport is the responsibility of purchaser$500 deposit due within 24 hours of close of auction
