1996 SVT COBRA MUSTANG

Up for auction is my SVT Mustang Cobra. This car was sold used by Windy City Autos known for selling high quality special interest autos.At that time the car was totally stock, since then the car has been tastefully modified. To give it a nicer more aggressive stance.the suspenesion has been lowered 1 1/4 inches .It is fitted with new Cobra R wheels and SUMITOMO HTR 35Z (315/35ZR17 rear) and SUMITOMO HTR 40Z (275/40ZR17 front) The shifter is a STEEDA TR-AX BILLET short throw with a RETRO HURST stick topped with a Ford Racing shift knob. The exhaust flows thru a MAGNA FLO stainless steel MAGNA PACK system for an incredible sound. This car has never been raced or abused NO COLD AIR INTAKES OR CHIPS EVER! the COBRA has 55,570 miles and looks AWESOME! The paint has been wet sanded for a wet looking gloss, The engine compartment decals have excellent color and this car has all original hoses and clamps with OEM numbers.1996 was the FIRST YEAR of the exotic HAND BUILT 32 VALVE DOUBLE OVERHEAD CAM mod 4,6 motor with the crank forged in Germany and the block forged in Italy. The engines were assembled by a dedicated two man team on the assembly line.The brakes are monitored and controlled by a three channel four sensor BOSCH ABS system that can modulate and adjust each of the four calipers every 10 milliseconds.there is a small scratch in the rear bumper cover about 1 inch long on the left rear corner and the front bumper cover has a few small stone chip, and the left door tweeter of the MACH 460 sound system has two small marks on it as shown in the pictures .This is a 20 year old mustang that shows great .With fox body mustangs going up in price it will only be a matter of time before these Mustangs start to follow .THE COBRA COMES WITH THE SVT CERTIFICATION AS WELL AS WINDY CITY SALE INFO AND RECEIPTS FOR WORK AND PARTS INSTALLED AS WELL AS FACTORY SALES BROCHURE.THIS IS A REALLY NICE CAR AND A CHANCE TO OWN A RARE PIECE OF FORD SVT HISTORY!TO TOP IT OFF 1996 WAS THE YEAR FORD MUSTANG WON THE S.C.C.A.
