1990 iroc z 5 speed g92,j65,g80,mm5..Dual cats..very rare for 1990...engine does not turn over,possible seized....rust on floors and rear quarters.Was going to part out....Being that they only made so few 1990 iroc z hard top and 5 speed...Almost could have been a 1LE car..Any questions you can call me 1917-939-2775..Good luck..Ps read on some forums.....................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................Just getting back to you on those production numbers for 91 G92's... Well, for 1990 and 1992 the numbers are pretty straight forward in determining how many G92 5 speeds there were. The 92's can be determined from the info I posted above. The 90's are even easier as you just subtract the total G92's (2710) from the B2L's (2415) and you are left with a total of295 LB9 G92 5 speeds....certainly a very low number!
Now 1991 gets a little weird. First off, the totals don't add up. According to the Camaro White book, there were 12,452 Z28 coupes, 3203 Z28 convertibles and 592 B4C's, ALL of which should have had either the B2L or LB9 TPI V8 in them. But the White book lists only 6080 B2L's and 9996 LB9's. This adds up to 16,076, but the total of Z28's and B4C's is 16,247. Somehow that leaves 171 of these cars without either the B2L or LB9 motor! Further more, all G92's should have the J65 included, but there were only 4938 J65's out of the 6813 G92's listed. This might be possible as it was reported that at one point they were building G92's without the J65...the difference is 1875 units.
At anypoint, if we take the same method of calculating the 90 and 92 cars, we should be able to subtract the B2L's (6080) from the G92's (6813) and we end up with 733 remaining which should be the G92 LB9 5 speeds.
So then, to recap on the production volume for the G92 5 speeds, the following should be accurate:
1990: 295
1991: 733
1992: 607
