1970 Chevelle SS Convertible LS5 Triple Black 454 FREE DELIVERY IN US ! TRADES ?

Up for bid is my 1970 Chevelle SS Convertible. This is the first time being offered for sale in over 30 years. This is a 1970 Chevelle SS Convertible, triple black, LS5 454 Cowl Induction, stripe delete. These cars are very rare and hard to come by. Some options on this car are power steering, power disc brakes and power convertible top. The LS5 454 engine has been completely rebuilt to stock LS5 specs and runs great. This included having hardened exhaust valve seats installed in the heads so running unleaded fuel will be no problem. Exhaust manifolds were sandblasted and treated with Eastwood heat coating. A brand new period correct true dual exhaust with mufflers and correct numbered chrome tips installed. Naturally all belts and hoses are new as well as the alternator, starter, heater core, fuel pump, battery, motor and trans mounts etc. The turbo 400 trans was sent out and serviced and received new seals, gaskets and fluid. The F-41 rear suspension with boxed lower control arms, rear sway bar and 12 bolt rear end also received new seals, gaskets and fluid. There is also a new gas tank, sending unit and new fuel and brake lines. Car has only been pulled in and out of garage for pictures so there are no miles on this since the work has been done. This is a fresh car. The interior is mostly new including the seat covers, carpet, door panels etc. Car has rare special order concours bench seat with folding armrest. Door and trunk weather stripping is new. Convertible top is brand new as can be seen in the pictures. Car has received a recent respray in the period correct tuxedo black paint. Not perfect. Could use cut and buff. Car was originally ordered stripe delete however new owner could add them if preferred. Both front and rear chrome bumpers are brand new. Period correct New York license plates will be included with the sale and make great decoration. Many more new parts have been added over the years but you get the idea. I travel a lot and do not have time to drive all the cars in my collection. Most just sit in storage. Overall a good solid car that just needs final finishing touches. This is the least expensive 1970 Chevelle SS convertible on the market. If you can not afford the on average $100k buy in price most sellers are trying to get currently for these cars this could be for you. I am letting the car go well below market value so the average enthusiast could have a chance at owning one of these rare cars. Keep in mind documented matching numbers cars sell for $100k-$200k on a regular basis. Non documented cars such as mine sell for $50k-$100k depending on options etc. Mine is priced below the low end leaving a large upside for potential profit and making it a safe investment.
