1988 Chev 1500 Pickup

1988 Chev 1500 long box 2WD. Wrangler trim package. 305 c.i. with automatic transmission. Power windows, power door locks, power brakes, power steering,cruise control, A/C, original sound system. Everything is original except chrome air cleaner, chrome valve covers. The stock ones are included in the sale. This truck is in Canada, so the odometer reads in kilometers. 144,000 original kilometers which is 89,000 original miles.

The original owner was an older fellow in our small town who really looked after it. I bought the truck off his widow shortly after he passed away 9 years ago.

Everything works, and it drives real nice. Occasionally when I start it up, it will blow a puff of blue smoke. I am told this is due to a bit of wear on the valve guides. There is a crack in the windshield. I have a $300 deductible on the glass, so if the purchaser wants a new windshield, I will have it replaced at the purchaser's expense. It has slightly larger than stock tires on it, and a receiver hitch. Never been smoked in. It has dual exhaust and sounds good. It has collector plates in B.C. where it is registered.

Interior upholstery is real nice. No rips in the seat or headliner. It has always had floor mats, so the carpet is good also.

The hood has a few spots where the paint is peeling a bit. The hood could usefresh paint. I don't think it has ever been in an accident. There was a dent in a rear quarter panel when I bought it, and I had that fixed at a body shop. The body is not showing any signs of rust.The truckis in overall very good original condition
