1964 Mercedes-Benz 230SL Convertible Original Ivory/Tan, Pagoda W113 230 SL

Up for sale is a very rare and unique 1964 Mercedes-Benz 230SL Hardtop Convertible. This Mercedes has been residing in San Antonio for the past 10 years, before coming out of an Admiral's collection in California. The 230SL had previously been tucked away in a local owner's garage. Only 6,911 of these 1964 230SL's were produced by Mercedes-Benz worldwide! Many of these originals have been lost or destroyed. The remaining Pagoda's are becoming more and more scarce, making them great investment and collector cars. This SL was one of the last produced with a vertical spare tire, placing the original build date in June/July of 1964.
The Mercedes is 100% stock minus an aftermarket CD player and two speakers added to the rear seat area. The SL was restored about 10 years ago and is in absolutely stunning condition. This car is a head turner and attracts attention everywhere it goes. It has a timeless and iconic look and is one of the most popular sports cars in European history. The car was recently completely serviced and gone over by a Pagoda expert. The cold and hot starting systems were just rebuilt, so the vehicle maintains it's factory Bosch mechanical fuel injection. The fuel injection system is tuned correctly and works great! The vehicle condition report provided by the shop that performed the recent services is available.
