This is one of ten vehicles I bought in early 1970s, This one was built 12-3-69, I boughtfrom original owner 10-11-73, drove home and one local 4th of July parade, aprox 150 miles total, then stored it covered in dry storage, warming it up routinely, for 43 years.I read that 58 of the 1935 superbirds built had this drive train, the 58 divided by 7 colors= 7 cars like this one .Not considering those that have been wrecked in 47 years and those not sold in 1970 that were converted to regular roadrunners, this car has to be considered very rare. ( Car Collector & Car Classics, Oct 1979 ).This car has not been driven in 43 years except pulled out of the garage to take these pictures and to check the drive train and brakes. The date stamp on photos are incorrec, correct date is 7-22-16
