THE BAD:
**I am a very detailed oriented person, this is a complete list to the best of my knowledge. I do not want to hide any blemishes from the future buyer**
-Airbag light: Passenger occupancy sensor is not installed because it is part of the stock seat. A capacitor can be purchased and plugged in to the empty harness to make light turn off.
-Passenger door lock solenoid sticks occasionally (problem seems to have self corrected since driving the car more frequently)
- Driver side weather stripping has become slightly unglued behind A pillar
-FM antenna needs work on new head unit (Dynavin unit apparently needs a “powered antenna” which I am not skilled enough to diagnose). This is a well documented issue on many forums and is not a costly repair, but I have not had time to diagnose and fix it myself (since I listen to my I-pod mostly, it has not bothered me).
-Weather Stripping around upper-rear ¼ window should be replaced on L and R side and rubber around rear window showing age.
-Small dents in various places, paint chips normal for a car of this age
- Rubber seal on roof mounted shark fin showing age/ dry rot
- Paint quality and fit of CSL trunk not on par with rest of paint work
- Small water spots appearing on edge of driver side rear view mirror glass
- Low speed rear end bumper damage repaired with new bumper (accident in 2003)
- Imola rear seat side bolsters were modified slightly (but irreversibly) to fit roll bar.
-Over the years of owning this car i have had hood and front fenders replaced from parking lot incidences. One in 2014 (hood and pass fender), one around 2007 (Driver fender). Paint quality and the repair work is flawless. All incidences from careless drivers reversing.
Please see the youtube walk around of the car listed below. I am clearly not a professional actor but I hope it helps answer anyadditionalquestions you may have.
