This 1997 Silver BMW 318i (E 36) was professionally converted to M3 specifications by Leo Franchi’s Midwest MotorSports, one of the country’s premier BMW aftermarket tuning shops, at a cost of over $18,000. This is an incredible car, a rocket ship, and I am only selling it because I’m facing replacement surgery for my left knee and I am having difficulty with the pressure of the clutch pedal (Sachs competition clutch disc). The odometer shown 93,000 miles but the motor has approximately 20,000 less. I have used Castrol Syntec and Mobil One synthetic oils and only Shell or Chevron premium fuel. The interior is nearly perfect, tires have more than 80% tread life, there is an auxiliary 6-disc CD changer, and sunroof. Remote mirrors and power windows work fine. The car has been lowered with aero kit rocker panels added. Many more minor enhancements too numerous to list. Two sets of wheels and many spare stock parts. Original owners manuals and original factory tool kit are included. Modifications and services are fully documented with original invoices.

Car looks and runs great except for the following issues: Needs gas strut to hold up hood,

Headlight High Beams don’t work

A/C blows cold but is operated from auxiliary toggle switch.

This is NOT a teen’s first car or a car for someone not used to a 5-speed manual transmission.
